HMBIA – Battle of the Nations
Historical Medieval Battle lnternational Association (HMBIA), is an association that leads the Medieval Combat internationally. It is also known as the “Battle of the Nations” as it has been held in many countries such as Serbia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, etc. The first Spanish participation was in 2013 in Aigües Mortes.
This tournament consists of different battles typical of the medieval age that combine culture and sports. There may also be an audience present to enjoy the show. The people competing are dressed according to the time with different types of armor and weapons.
It was held in January 2017 in the Monumental Bullring in Barcelona, which was when EProjecta made the self-protection plan so that in the event of any accident, the organization knew how to act accordingly.
