The MTV Europe Music Awards Gala, also known as the MTV EMA, is one of the most important music events in the world. Distinguished national and international artists and celebrities meet each year at this popular live music event.

This is a gala designed for artists, but also for fans who are in charge of voting for the winner among the nominees in each category, such as best song, best male artist, best female artist, etc.

MTV Europe Music Awards 2018

This Gala was held on November 4, 2018, at the Bilbao Exhibition Center, where the main pavilion can accommodate up to 26,000 people. American singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld hosted the event.

It was an edition full of dynamism and unleashed madness. This is where the current international star Rosalía first gave her first show to a worldwide audience.

Artists who eventually won the awards include Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, and Cardi B.

MTV Europe Music Awards 2019

This event was held on November 3, 2019, at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Seville, with a capacity to accommodate up to 3,550 attendees. Reggaeton singer Becky G hosted this edition.

This edition hosted the best of international pop and commercial music. The artist Rosalía once again offered a show for the second consecutive edition where she in turn won the award for best collaboration.

Other great artists at this Gala were Americans Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, K-pop Gro Up BTS, and national artist Lola Indigo who took home the award for best local artist.
